Supersize Custom Made Oak and Tubular Steel Island for Zimbabwean Client

Our client Pat owns a big chicken farm in Zimbabwe, and she was very excited to build the house of her dreams on her farm and emigrate back from Joburg to be a full time farmer.   We worked with Pat to help design the right structure  and came up with a custom solution working closely with our Johannesburg furniture production team, to accommodate all her free standing pots and ceramics on the open shelves, and also deep based drawers lined with extra strong base  for her heavy collection of steel and ceramic pots.  It was very important to Pat that this over sized island functioned as a meeting point for her very big family, but also in a very big open plan space.    Here is her feedback
