Founded in 2013, Vintage-etc is an owner-run business fueled by passion, creativity, and a commitment to creating spaces that truly have soul. My name is Amanda Stergianos, and after 18 years in London working in the advertising industry, I returned to Cape Town to pursue what I love most—designing beautiful furniture that creates spaces with soul, and I am now in my 15th year of growing this business from strength to strength. I love what I do, which is important to me, and making sure my clients have a good experience is as important.

Today, Vintage-etc works with an incredible team of skilled carpenters, dedicated administrators, and trusted suppliers (that includes leather, lighting, beading ceramic specialists , arists and other artisans.

Together, we craft furniture and curate designs that blend timeless character with contemporary functionality, where old meets new and every piece tells a soulful story.

Custom Creations: If you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, we can make it for you. With over 3,000 custom pieces crafted to date and glowing reviews from satisfied clients, you can trust us to turn your ideas into reality. You design it; we’ll build it.

Our expertise in crafting reclaimed wood furniture and bespoke pieces makes us the ideal partner for creating unforgettable spaces. So far, we’ve furnished lodges and camps in the Masai Mara (Kenya), Namibia, Botswana, and across South Africa, producing everything from bedside tables and vanity units to bar counters and display cabinets and created display units for displaying merchandise in shops, as well as created film sets for bloggers and vloggers.
