About

Amanda Stergianos, foundar Vintage-etc

Steve Jobs (founder of iconic Apple brand) once said “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.”

It is this thinking that resonated with the founder so much, that eventually she found the courage move from a corporate career and start her own business doing what she really loved, creating beautiful spaces.

Vintage-etc was launched in 2013 and started by selling imported furniture only. The business has grown and they now sell soft furnishings, take custom orders for bespoke pieces of furniture - as well as offer a consulting service to help customers create beautiful unique spaces.  They have consulted in home interiors, kitchen design, funky loft office spaces for small businesses, creating outdoor living spaces on patios and supplying game farms with bespoke pieces that sets them apart from others.

Amanda's strength lies pulling together a vision for a client, and tapping into an extensive network of artisan furniture and accessory contacts who can help her create a client's dream space.

Shoppers deal directly with Amanda and her team and they assure you of a personalised, small but efficient business mentality. They offer discounts for bulk purchases and a trade discount for decorators and the hospitality industry.

As they look to expand their online portfolio, they look for more suppliers. If you have furniture or accessories you would like Vintage-etc to include in their portfolio,  please get in touch with Amanda at info@vintage-etc.com.

The Vendory

The success of Vintage-etc.com has allowed the team to branch into another website that operates as a market-place for the best vendors, selling high-end home-ware, accessories and gifts. www.thevendory.com allows vendors to sell directly to the shoppers on a commission basis and each vendor has their own micro-site to display their best sellers. All pieces on both websites are hand- picked to help our shoppers go directly to the best of the best.
