Thank you for your interest in Vintage-etc.  We are happy to take your specifications and briefs and help you source or get bespoke orders made and develop long-standing relationships underpinned by trust, value and quality. Please take a moment to review our trade policy. 

We are not always able to provide discounts for imported items, as our margins are already kept low for our online shoppers and no increases have been applied for 2020 due to the global economic crises, but we are able to negotiate good trade discounts on bespoke orders that are locally manufactured by our own trusted team and related partners.

Rates :

• Trade discounts will only be applied for orders on imports over the value of R50k per order (or per calendar month) to a maximum value 5-8% 
• Trade discounts on custom orders over the total value of R50K per order (or per calendar month), will be discounted to a maximum value of 10-12%. 
• For trade discounts on custom orders over the total value of R100k per order (or per calendar month) , a discretionary additional discount could be 12-15%.   
• If you are decorating a lodge, B&B, restaurant or hotel, please feel free to get in touch for bulk orders to discuss customising your trade deal. 

The fine print :

Too many people become "trade" when purchasing furniture, so we need the following to validate your trade status.

1. Your trading business name and your website (or social media handles)  
2. Please confirm if you are in the decor, hospitality and design industry or other (kindly specify).
3. Please advise long you have traded 
4. Please provide contactable trade suppliers from whom you regularly purchase (such as a decor business, fabric supplier, nursery, manufacturer, designer etc ) 
5. email this information to info@vintage-etc.com and allow us 2 working days to review.  

Please do note

1. Trade discounts can not be applied to any items that are on sale. These items would already be discounted and further discounts will not apply.
2. Discounts can not be applied to prizes or vouchers
3. Discounts can not be demanded after estimates have been issued
4. Discounts are  subject to the discretion of Vintage-etc
5. When requesting trade rates, please ensure the value of your order meets the required trade sale value (over R50K)

For online payments, allow  3 working days for payments to clear to us, as PayFast the payment provider will hold funds for 3 days.  No items will be released until payment clears.
